Views:

Step 1. Ensure your webcam is turned on and working outside of VDI. The webcam settings in VDI is based on the settings from your local PC.  

Step 2. Check if you are using the desktop version of VDI.

If you see the Citrix Toolbar as pictured in the screenshot below, you are using the desktop version and may proceed to Step 3.

If you see the Citrix Toolbar pictured as below, you are using the browser version. The browser version does not support hardware such as printers or webcam. Please refer to this link to change to the Desktop version: https://support.ishinecloud.sg/knowledgebase/article/KA-01038/en-us

Step 3. Please click on the Citrix toolbar, under Preference > Connections, check if all the three settings below are set to ‘Connect automatically’ or ‘Automatic’. If the issue persists, please proceed to Step 4.

Step 4. Please launch MS Teams, click the Calendar and click Meet Now.

In the next screen, click on Custom Setup.

Check the camera setting if the Citrix HDX Web camera is selected.

If the issue still persists, please take a screenshot of the above setting and raise a ticket to Support through the iSC Service Desk shortcut on your desktop, or email support@ishinecloud.sg and provide the following details:

  • Webcam driver
  • Brand of camera

The camera details can be found in the Device Manager from outside of VDI.
